Robert, there must be all of 450 other people living in this village. We don’t have street lighting and nobody seems to want it! So, I guess we could safely call this a rural area and I have to say that although there is the occasional bit of vandalism in the children’s play area, as far as I am aware there has never been any violence in the thirty five or so years I have lived here. Are we lucky? Perhaps, but don’t consider anything, seen or heard, on a soap as being representative of rural areas. Mind you, the last time I saw Coronation Street was in 1963 when I was in digs. Eastenders? I saw the first ten minutes of the very first episode. Cheers, Syd.
