any gen on merton mere blackpool?  ally.

Alright Ally, Once again the name Marton mere comes from 2 words. Back in the days when a dagger was the equivalent of todays AK47 the area, that was to become East Lancashire, was a hotbed of what was described as Merenders or outlaws. The word mere meant lake so Maton Mere used to be a lake in bandit country or the Meranders Lake.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

They’ve got a good Haven caravan site there too, but you have to eat your chips with a spoon on frequenting their chip shop.

we had our fish and chips at chip shop near beatrix potter museam, not quite sure if people running it were chinese or malaysian, but were very friendly and fish and chips were nice, grandson loved feeding swans ducks and various other birds, don,t think i,v seen swans as friendly , they were walking amongst day trippers as though they to were enjoying sights, grandson went on my shoulders as he was a bit wary, but when they stretched there necks they still reached him, humerous to watch.

again a moan on councils, gypsies seem to be getting more lee way than the villagers paying rates and council tax, they avoid building regulations or totally ignore them, council now waiting on european rights decission before actually doing anything to help locals. strange spain bulldozing english retirees bungaloes, taking there gardens or land spanish ignore completely european rights comments, more or less saying we make our own rulings, as they quite happily get funds for being part of europe to improve there roads, while our mp,s concede to these bigoted european countries, italy, france, germany, and spain do not, it,s a matter of ruling the roost by issuing thousands of stupid laws that seem to hit us more than any other country, because our so called leaders think being part of europe is a good thing, our laws were created over centuries as was our way of life, still one of the best in world, let,s keep it and kick these euro mp freeloaders into touch, please.
