On This Day

I believe Tony is the preferred form of address Scouse old bean for our silver surfer friend who has an interesting and rewarding association with kangaroos.  He may tell you about it some time but don’t jump to conclusions!!!!!!

However, Tony rule number one on here is never apologise until someone else tells you that you are wrong.  I’m still wondering what you did wrong but I’m a bit preoccupied at present.

Back to the thread:-

On This Day in 1891 Robertson Hare, English actor whose catch phrase was ’Oh, calamity’ was born.

IN 1849 Thomas and William Bowler sold their first bowler hat to William Coke!!!!

In 1939 the German battleship Graf Spee was scuttled in the River PLate off Montevideo, Uruguay.

TeeCee.

Once a Lancer, always a Lancer!
