T.C.  Not a personal anecdote, but am wondering if the bloke along the road who displays a different National flag each day, has the same book as you.  Today he has the French flag flying....any info on that.  Sheila O.McK.

P.S. Antipodes..People whose feet are directly opposite to ours....Well of course.

About that bloke flying a different national flag each day, Sheila, I do that.

It’s a precaution in case we get invaded.

Does the Isle of Wight have its own flag?
If it hasn’t, it should have.

Alright John, Yes indeed it does & here it is (it’s a bit small I’m afraid, but so’s the isle)

A situation may be desperate but never serious

I don’t know why, but the piccy didn’t take. I will try again, but if it fails it’s a pale blue rectangle with a 3 tower castle in gray central there are 3 gold anchors 1 below & 1 either side of the castlen
