William Wooldridge

Am looking for my grt,grt-grandfather above have marriage certificate for him he married Mary Ann McEvoy, and Occupation on marriage certificate, say of the Band of the 12th Regiment age 29 Victoria Barracks Paddington, which I presume would be in NSW Australia, he was married 7th March 1861, can anyone tell me how i would go about obtaining his records please,I have no idea where he was born, but his son,same name was born in Australia, also his mother’s name was Jane Woldridge:
