Battle of Jutland

My husbands Great Grandad was mentioned in Naval Despatches for service on HMS Canada in August 1916. He was called William James Cann and is down as a Commissioned Warrant Officer. However, I can’t find any service details for him, or even a mention of HMS Canada. Can anyone help
