Status: Offline | Sgt Sylvester Kenneth Yates
Sylvester was a wireless operator in the RAFVR in WW2. He was killed in a flying accident in 1944 in North Wales aged 21.
I have only recently discovered that he was my uncle and I would really love to know more about what he flew in and what theatre of war he was engaged in.
All I have on him is his rank, cause of death, which was "due to war operations", his number: 1549514 and unit: No 8(0)AFU.
Any information at all will be much appreciated. Thanks.
