QDG/KDG Officer Records?

My late father was a Sapper, who was commissioned into the KDG on 26 Feb 1944 in Egypt. He was then secconded/attached to the TJFF in Sarafand as OC Guards Mobile Sqn O.C. I have some sketchy records about his exploits, but nothing substantial. I do however have his wedding photos and record of marriage in the DO Office in Jaffa. Does anyone have any details that I might use in the compilation of a more concise record of his service?
