Sgt John/Jack Reddish - 9 sqd RAF Bardney 1943

I think I’ve found my late Uncle’s Service Record on Forces War Records.

This is where my search has come to an end.  I know he was shot down over Holland in May 1943.

Any advice on how I can find out more about when he joined the RAF and how I can find out where his body was buried etc, will be gratefully received.

Thanks

Your uncle is named on the Air Force Memorial at Runnymede.  The persons named on the Memorial, sadly,  have no known grave.

"The Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede commemorates by name over 20,000 airmen who were lost in the Second World War during operations from bases in the United Kingdom and North and Western Europe, and who have no known graves"
