Things Scouse never expected to hear from me.

I agree with his post.

I agree with John Richard’s post.

I agree with Maurice Robinson’s post.

I’ll ring Liverpool General later to find out how Scouse is doing in the ICU.

TC.

Sorry - forgot the apostrophes!!!!

Alright Terry, Whaa, gasp gasp thud. Cheers Terry it took a big man to say that. I do (in my foolish way) believe there are politicians of all shades who genuinely try their best for their constituents & the country, the trouble is they are a dying breed.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

I believe it is quite obvious that all this talk about various referendoms that the three parties keep harping on about are of no interest to the ordinary person,and the only one they wish to see,is a referendum on Europe.

But,alas,we will not get want we wish for,and go on giving Billions away to a corrupt,unelected European Parliament,and be further engulfed into how they wish to run us.

I really did think that Cameron would have had the guts to stick up to the EU.but now of the opinion that they are feathering their nests after ruining this country,to belong to that "Establishment"

We might witness a few tongue-in-cheek promises after 4years of ruin,sorry,rule,from Cameron to go down the road of a referendom,but as NO politicians have any scruples,it will not happen.

I,and would imagine,thousands of other voters,will not be inline with any of the three main parties at the next election,as I am sick of the country been lied to,and all the back tracking on what was promised.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

Thanks for the compliment Scouse but it doesn’t mean I think the answer lies with the Labour Party.  Rather the opposite as I think that had they done a better job we would not have been as deep in the umgalla as we are.

I don’t want to enter into yet another exchange of views on this as no matter what we say it has in effect already been covered by what has been said in this and other threads.

We know what is needed and what incenses us is that the politicians don’t seem to have the same depth of perception.  It is as many of us have said and, as Pamela has just reminded us, that they have never worked in the real world as we have.

Get well soon Scouse - I’m sure one or other of our lady ex-nurses would be happy to cool your fevered brow.

TC.

The trouble with the public school system is that whereas the standard of teaching is very high, there is no guarantee that the level of learning is equal. No amount of Daddy’s money is going to buy little Fitzroy Marmaduke a brain. But it is drummed into them from an early age that they are "leaders" and they graduate from school as fully qualified ’Ruperts’ regardless of ability. They then go into the Church, Army or Politics, regardless of any lack of ability and start running the show. We appear to have a complete set of them running the country at the moment, and their actions are dictated only by their personal ambition.

I think the Tory ship of state has lost power & is heading for the rocks. They are beginning to fight amongst themselves as can be seen by the Tory MP for Mid Bedfordshire Nadine Dorries’s latest statement;

   “Not only are Cameron and Osborne two posh boys who don’t know the price of milk, but they are two arrogant posh boys who show no remorse, no contrition, and no passion to want to understand the lives of others. That is their real crime.”

& the Public Administration Committee (a predominantly Tory committee) who state in a report that;

  "an absence of national strategy was leading to ’mistakes’ such as those following the recent Budget. The aims set out in the coalition agreement were "too meaningless to serve any useful purpose", it added."
(the full damning report can be seen on report can be seen on bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics)

Now you know why their first act of Parliament was to make fixed term parliaments, they’re in the job for 5 years, I shudder to think what will be left of the country by then.

Well Scouse as there wasnt much left after the previouse 13 years ,putting that 5 on top the Country will be in a "MINUS" Situation and at the bottom of a very deep Hole.:crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
