             All that we seem to hear about
             lately is inquiries about who did
              this ,and wrote and said that , what
               minister should resign ,or apologise
               i dont know about you members , but
                 as most of this is Retrospective ,
                   ( circa the phone tapping/Bsky B
                      Enquries) i am more interested in the
                        Present, Like when are we going
                         to see a Goverment "pull its socks
                             up" and sort this Country out,
                              Thts what i want to read about

I agree with you all the way, Maurice.
I think it’s being done to divert our attention from the inability of the present government to cope. I heard Cameron on the box talking about all the problems he has to sort out across the world.

He isn’t Prime Minister of across the world.

He is Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

David Cameron wants to be a World Statesman to the detriment of this country.

What he will become is an ex-Prime Minister.

I think the Tory ship of state has lost power & is heading for the rocks. They are beginning to fight amongst themselves as can be seen by the Tory MP for Mid Bedfordshire Nadine Dorries’s latest statement;

   “Not only are Cameron and Osborne two posh boys who don’t know the price of milk, but they are two arrogant posh boys who show no remorse, no contrition, and no passion to want to understand the lives of others. That is their real crime.”

& the Public Administration Committee (a predominantly Tory committee) who state in a report that;

  "an absence of national strategy was leading to ’mistakes’ such as those following the recent Budget. The aims set out in the coalition agreement were "too meaningless to serve any useful purpose", it added."
(the full damning report can be seen on report can be seen on bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics)

Now you know why their first act of Parliament was to make fixed term parliaments, they’re in the job for 5 years, I shudder to think what will be left of the country by then.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

  Copy that  (except for ringing the Hospital.)

  The problem, as has been discussed before, is that we now have a whole plethora of ’Politicians’ who have been brought up to see it as a career rather than an opportunity to serve their country and put something back into the community.  Their main aim is basically their own self aggrandisement and enrichment and building up contacts and openings for their future.

  Apart from a few brave souls who soldier on against the odds, this state of affairs extends across all parties.

  They have read lots of books on Politics and Economics but have never actually worked in the real world.

  It’s somewhat similar to putting a cadet straight out of Dartmouth in charge of our newest battleship, or a cadet straight out of Sandhurst in charge of a major battle.

Give a man an inch.........and he thinks he’s a ruler.
