Now it’s John D’s turn to deviate from the seriousness of the subject under discussion.

I therefore feel that I should steer the thread back onto its original topic.

Should smoking be banned in operating theatres?

I think the Patient might be allowed to smoke during the op. but as the staff are wearing masks this could be difficult. I did ask a Doctor who does the Anasthetics and he said "Ether way i am not bothered unless the patient is being operated on for a Corona...ry".
