Status: Offline | Hello: you’ll probably be forced to contact the MOD disclosures unit in Glasgow for much detailed information as it’s likely still to be classified.
If you look at the tutorials page on forces war records you’ll see the hints and tips section which has all the details listed.
Most (not all) of the 2.3 million records on the site come from Casualty lists, medal lists, attestation papers, POW reports, mentions on despatches and war diaries, there are a lot of service records but not everyones, and not the classified ones of course.
