Windows not opening properly

Recently I seem to have a bug which prevents things opening up properly. When I go into my mail box and then open up FR or other sites with posts on in various threads they only open up in a narrow band across the upper part of the screen.

I can click to open them up fully or drag the bottom down but they still open up only partially after closing them and re-opening. It has happened before and disappeared for a time but has now returned.

It’s very frustrating but not critical but any help would be appreciated.

My lap top is a Toshiba L500 with Windows 7 pre installed and is now two years old. I have tried system restore but it had no effect.

Terry,

Right click on your browser shortcut (IE, Firefox or whatever) and select properties from the drop down menu.

A box will open up with tabs along the top. Select ’Shortcut’.

Near the foot of the page you will see ’Run:’ and a box with a drop down arrow next to it.

Ensure that the box says, ’Normal Window’. Click Apply at bottom right followed by OK.
