Hi Murray, ...errrr interesting, but why?  There are a number of reasons why you would want to copy an image and paste it elsewhere.

If the concern is that some would copy copywrited images, well there are a couple of points about that.

Firstly all computer users should be aware of downloading rules concerning both images and text, it’s the copywrite laws.

Secondly, web site programmers have a facility in the coding to disable the right click function...I know cos I have done it.

Not complaining mate, just interested in the reason.

I fear the geek, even though he comes bearing gifs.

Carl,

Maurice was asking about posting to FR.  I wouldn’t want him and others to think they could embed images into their post.

Not that we ever did!

Thank you Murray

OK and I accept that may be a problem.

FR does appear to have a few problems not experienced on smaller forum type sites.

Animations don’t work in the image upload section, post formatting not allowed, links to helpful websites not allowed. etc.

Hey Ho, that’s life I reckon.

Merry Christmas to you and yours mate, and wishing you a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

Carl
