dear colum, thought I would take your mind off of the cold wet weather with a little story from england [you know that half the world is english ect!]the story has a moral!and a little sad, so take a seat and a glass of .bushmills read and hopefully enjoy. every year at the end of summer the swallows in england take to the skies and fly 2000 miles to warmer climes last year summer decided to hang around for a little longer [its called an indian summer ] but the swallows all left at there normal time ,that is all the swallows bar one, he in his wisdom said why should I go now, its still nice and warm ,i will stay a little longer. about 5 weeks later the weather really cold,so the lonesome swallow decided he would have to migrate, so off he took on his lonesome flight. as he was flying over switzerland the weather turned so cold his wings began to freeze and he slowly dropped to the ground, but luck was on his side and he dropped right in the middle of a fresh cow pat, the outside quickly froze over ,but he was safe and warm and had plenty of food inside the cow,pat he was so happy,now he didnt have to fly all that way that he began to sing! unfortunately for him a wolf happend to be passing by and heard the singing, so he dug into the cow pat , found the swaqllow and had a nice dinner! the moral of the story?
