Alright Brian, My wife was a civil servant for eighteen years with the MOD in Liverpool. I can assure you that during that time she & her colleagues not only gave money to good causes they also gave their free time as helpers at many events. I know the media has made it fashonable to slagg off the civil service but you shouldn’t believe everything you read in the papers.

I’ll support that, Scouse. I too was a MOD Civil Servant when I left the mob, and apart from a few nutters like me, they’re all ordinary normal people. It now appears offensive to work for the Government.
