ST PETERS COURT IS A SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION FOR EX - ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL IN SACRISTON COUNTY DURHAM. THE PROJECT HAS 16 SELF CONTAINED FLATS. ALL SERVICE PERSONNEL CAN ACCESS THE FOLLOWING SERVICE, COMBAT STRESS, MIND, DRUG & ALCOHOL SERVICE, FINCHALE TRAINING COLLEGE, NEW COLLEGE DURHAM, REMOUNT, THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CAB WORKER, AND CASE WORKER, INHOUSE TRAINING ROOM, EACH TENANT WILL BE ALLOCATED A SUPPORT WORKER. I fully support the excellent work being done by Tony and his staff at St. Peter’s Court. If you know of any ex service person or those just about to leave, who will be living in the NE put them in touch with Tony or myself at Finchale Training College (FTC), Durham. FTC is a vocational college which has supported ex service personnel in the NE since 1943, so almost 70 years. There is a lot of help out there if people know how to ’tap’ into it. Over a month ago
